Leigh is a graduate from the Sydney University Law School. He also has a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University.

Leigh Adams is accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales as a specialist in Business Law. Leigh is also a member of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia. He has over 20 years experience as a corporate and commercial advisor with businesses ranging from sole traders to companies with in excess of 100 employees. He has particular experience in business succession, asset protection and employment related issues. Leigh is a highly regarded tactical lawyer and a highly sought after speaker, frequently presenting papers to numerous industry groups on these and related topics.
Leigh presented an Australia wide 6 hour workshop on Asset Protection and Business Succession for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in April and May 2009.
He will be speaking at the Australian Institute of Credit Management's National Conference in Brisbane in October 2010 on How to torpedo trusts and other asset protection strategies.
Wills and Estate Planning
Estate planning, asset protection and business succession strategies are closely related. When giving advice to business owners, we are able to also ensure their personal affairs are dealt with in a tax effective way.
Litigation and Insolvency
Leigh has written a book "When the Going Gets Tough" which deals with crisis management for business. He is a full member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and regularly presents papers to accountants throughout the Eastern States of Australia on all areas of insolvency law. Leigh is also a regular contributor to the monthly Insolvency Law Bulletin published by Lexis Nexis Butterworths.
Leigh is a member of the Insolvency and Reconstruction Committee of the Law Council of Australia and a former member of ASIC's Regional Insolvency Liaison Group, which is a group of accountants and lawyers which advises ASIC of the impact of current and proposed insolvency laws.
Information Technology
Leigh is a member and former committee member of the NSW Society for Computers and the Law. He is also a member of the Internet Industry Association. As such, Leigh is abreast of current initiatives and issues that affect the IT industry. He is also a former member of the NSW Law Society IT Committee.
