This came into operation on 1 January 2010 and include mandatory redundancy pay calculated on the employee's base rate of pay where an employer has 15 employees or more.
See us to update your employment agreements with not only the Rudd changes but also the little known Workplace Surveillance Act which can prohibit an employer from accessing an employee's computer unless proper notice is given. This can be a critical issue if restraint of trade or confidentiality breaches are alleged.
